I love heels, but rarely wear them for three reasons. One, while wearing them, I look like Bambi trying to walk for the first time. Lets face it, heels are no longer sexy and feminine when you can’t walk gracefully while wearing them. Two, my husband and I are almost the same height and I don’t like to be taller than him. Three, I’m a teacher and heels are not practical while teaching kindergarten.

I have been drooling over all the adorable heels I’ve been spotting in stores with ankle straps. I keep reminding myself of the above list, and not buying them. That’s why I was so excited when I found these flats that have the same quality that the heels I’ve been lusting after have. I tried them on and immediately fell in love with the color, the pointy toe, the intricate details, and last but not least, the flat sole. These are surely going to be a new staple for me.
